My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. Psalms 73:26

Flossie Priscilla Schooley passed away Tuesday June 19, 2018. She was born to the late Clem William and Viola Mae Skaggs in Vian, Oklahoma on March 7, 1950.

She is survied by her husband of 50 years James M Schooley (Buddy), her 3 children Shelina Estes, Nikki Schooley, Mathew Schooley his wife Connie Schooley, 5 grandchildren Michael, Zechari, Jeremiah, Isabella, Savannah, 1 sister Glendola Kizzia, 1 brother Roy Skaggs and many other realitive and close friends.

She was loved and loved her family very much. To all her nieces and nephews you all meant a great deal to her.

She was someone you could call on at anytime and she would answer any question (no matter how bizarre), help with anything at a last moments notice as best she could. She will be greatly missed.

I found this and if she was here this is what I think she would say to us

To Those Whom I love & Those Who Love Me

When I am gone, release me, let me go.
I have so many things to see and do,
You mustn't tie yourself to me with too many tears,
But be thankful we had so many good years.

I gave you my love, and you can only guess
How much you've given me in happiness.
I thank you for the love that you have shown,
But now it is time I traveled on alone.

So grieve for me a while, if grieve you must,
Then let your grief be comforted by trust.
It is only for a while that we must part,
So treasure the memories within your heart.

I won't be far away for life goes on.
And if you need me, call and I will come.

Though you can't see or touch me, I will be near.
And if you listen with your heart, you'll hear,
All my love around you soft and clear.

And then, when you come this way alone,
I'll greet you with a smile and a 'Welcome Home'.
For yes if you think of me, I will never have gone.

My Aunt Priscilla or Aunt Cilla as I called her has for a long time and will forever hold a special place of honor in my heart. When I was going through a very bad ending of an abusive marriage Aunt Priscilla was there literally there for me. Too many things to remember but she was the therapist I used. Arthur Murray dance studio and Aunt Priscilla accomplished what it may have taken a therapist years to get through to me. She was so much fun and a great friend. I'll always love you Aunt Cilla.

My condolences, as feelings of pain and bitterness become unbearable. It is my desire to convey a comforting thought based on the Holy Scriptures

John 5:28 "Do not marvel at this, because the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out."

This passage speaks of the resurrection of our loved ones. It is not God's plan to see us suffer and die, so He extends the following invitation to us: "Come near to God and He will draw near to you" (James 4:8)

My deepest condolences.  May these few words from the Holy Scriptures bring you comfort in your time of grief...

John 11:32-45

32 And so Mary, when she arrived where Jesus was and caught sight of him, fell at his feet, saying to him: “Lord, if you had been here, my brother would not have died.” 33 Jesus, therefore, when he saw her weeping and the Jews that came with her weeping, groaned in the spirit and became troubled; 34 and he said: “Where have YOU laid him?” They said to him: “Lord, come and see.” 35 Jesus gave way to tears. 36 Therefore the Jews began to say: “See, what affection he used to have for him!” 37 But some of them said: “Was not this [man] that opened the eyes of the blind man able to prevent this one from dying?”

38 Hence Jesus, after groaning again within himself, came to the memorial tomb. It was, in fact, a cave, and a stone was lying against it.39 Jesus said: “TAKE the stone away.” Martha, the sister of the deceased, said to him: “Lord, by now he must smell, for it is four days.”40 Jesus said to her: “Did I not tell you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?” 41 Therefore they took the stone away. Now Jesus raised his eyes heavenward and said: “Father, I thank you that you have heard me. 42 True, I knew that you always hear me; but on account of the crowd standing around I spoke, in order that they might believe that you sent me forth.” 43 And when he had said these things, he cried out with a loud voice: “Laz´a·rus, come on out!” 44The [man] that had been dead came out with his feet and hands bound with wrappings, and his countenance was bound about with a cloth. Jesus said to them: “Loose him and let him go.”

45 Therefore many of the Jews that had come to Mary and that beheld what he did put faith in him;

Paula Acton A Dear Friend July 7, 2018
We never got the chance to meet in person and we didnt always agree on everything, but during some dark times in my life you were there, to listen, console, tell me when I was wrong and stop me falling apart. a friend does not hve to be someone we pass in the street each day, it is someone we value, trust and can confide in, you were all those things to so many and much more. I cannot imagine the pain your family feels at your passing but they must know that no one could have loved them more. I am honoured to have been able to call you my friend and will miss you xxx

Can something good be said about death?
It Separates friends, families and sows pain, grief and sadness.
The Bible says that death is our great enemy.
However, the Bible also gives us hope!
John 5: 28, 29 as well as Acts 24:15; indicate that there will be a resurrection of the just and unjust.
Psalm 37:29 also promises that the righteous will possess the Earth.
Through the pages of the Bible we can acquire knowledge and guidance that help us face the loss of our loved ones…It gives us a sure hope.
